Before diving into new releases for the week, let us shift our attention quickly over to Kingdom’s two-week sales performance as of its latest volume. Copies sold in its first 10 days have reported its weakest turnout among those with the same number of days of sales as Volume 66 slipped 14.80% over debut sales of Volume 65. Compared to other volumes, the gap widens the most between Volume 66 and Volume 59 where the latter sold 31.96% more copies back in September 2020. As for the rest, Volume 66 performed lower by 29.96%, 30.00%, 20.11%, 16.95% and 15.67% against Volumes 58, 60, 62, 63 and 64.
Shuumatsu no Walküre Volume 16 is the best-selling new volumes for the week between September 19 and September 25 with its Regular Edition sitting atop at Number 2 with 126,682 copies sold while its Special Edition can be found all the way down at Number 24 with 19,743 copies. In total, that would be 146,425 copies sold in its first 6 days with gross sales of 109,670,880 yen (≈757.81 thousand USD). Had the volumes went on a day longer, it may not exceed Volume 15’s 169,161 copies sold in its first 7 days; however, it will maintain its lead over Volume 6’s 105,090 copies sold in its first 7 days.
