Analysis
There are no direct comparisons available thus far for Ouji-sama ni Dekiai sarete Komattemasu Volume 4. However, if the volume had been charted for two more days, it would have sold more copies than Volume 2. Additionally, its performance is slightly higher than Volume 3, which sold 12,724 copies in its first three days.
The weekly series sales chart for the week is led by the Ousama ni Sasagu Kusuriyubi series, thanks to the live-action adaptation single DEAR MY LOVER / Uraomote that topped its respective chart with a massive showing of 242,157 copies sold in its first five days. This pushes the series to close at a strong 333.27 million yen (≈2.39 million USD) in sales throughout the week. Apart from sales via its Music segment, which is its largest contributor, sales from its Manga, from which it is adapted, were also considered.
“Oshi no Ko” moved up a spot to secure 188.01 million yen (≈1.35 million USD) in sales, which is 1.56% more than the previous week, as some of its Manga volume sales picked up throughout the week. Much of its sales are concentrated in its Manga department, though sales from its Music segment were also a contributing factor.
Touken Ranbu takes the 3rd spot, propelled by the release of its Butai “Touken Ranbu” Guden Mujun Genjimonogatari discs, which performed well on Oricon’s general charts for the week. The Blu-ray edition sold 13,306 copies, while the DVD version sold 3,810 copies, both in their first five days. In total, this amounted to a remarkable 17,116 copies sold. As such, sales stood at 165.78 million yen (≈1.19 million USD) by the end of the week, with heavy contributions from its Video segment, while the other contributing segment belongs to its Music.
