There are no direct comparisons to Futsutsuka na Akujo dewa Gozaimasu ga: Suuguu Chouso Torikae Den Volume 5‘s performance, however, the 22,381 copies sold for the volume in its first three days are not as good as Volume 4’s 37,166 copies in five days amid lower average per day sales. When compared to Volume 8, Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta… Volume 9 has sold 16.84% fewer volumes, both in their first three days. The latest performance is also significantly less than Volume 7’s 35,678 copies in four days and may very well be the series’ worst performance thus far since Volume 6.
Additional Comments
In April 2020, SILVER LINK. adapted the work into a 12-episode TV Anime series and later on in July 2021, it was blessed with a sequel, also by the same studio. The title is expecting an Anime film to be released on December 8, 2023.

Real mo Tama ni wa Uso wo Tsuku was last seen with Volume 3 at 6,367 copies sold in its first five days in June 2022. Volume 4’s debut performance represents a 14.48% drop over its last.
“Oshi no Ko” retains its Number 1 spot with total sales tracked for the week moving up by a small 4.72% to 223.47 million yen (≈1.56 million USD) from last week’s 213.39 million yen (≈1.49 million USD), which could have been higher had it not been bogged down by sales of its Idol single that saw a significant decline of 88.96% to 5,450 copies throughout the week. Though much of its retention here can be attributed to stronger performance of its Manga which overall sales climbed 23.90% week-over-week, the inclusion of its Anime’s 1st volume Blu-ray and DVD releases further consolidated its performance for the week. Despite the Anime’s 1st volume release, much of the sales here are derived from its Manga segment.
At Number 2 is Love Live! with 169.29 million yen (≈1.18 million USD) amid a boost from its Music segment. The Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours CLUB CD SET 2023 single is seen on the singles chart, debuting at Number 6 for the week at a total of 10,485 copies in its first three days. Apart from sales of its Music segment, which is its biggest contributor for the week, sales from Video, Books, Novels and Manga were also considered.
Finally, we have Avatar coming in 3rd with 98.64 million yen (≈689.92 thousand USD) worth of sales made thanks to the discs of the brand’s latest film “The Way of Water”. The Blu-ray and DVD set became the 3rd bestseller for the week selling 11,025 copies in its first three days. Note that the price of the set is 4,900 yen (≈34 USD) each, plus the Video segment is the sole contributor to sales for the week.
