Japan Top Weekly Manga Sales Ranking: February 20 – February 26, 2023

There are no direct comparisons so far (since Volume 6) for Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Volume 11. The 96,639 copies sold in its first 2 days, albeit with a high average per day, projects a slower intensity when compared to its previous volumes. For instance, Volume 7 which was still at a high 42,979 copies sold on average per day as of its 5^th day. Volumes 9 and 10 both were at above 40,000 on average per day in their first 4 days; the two volumes sold more than 160,000 copies in November 2021 and June 2022, respectively.

Note. It tends to be that the longer it goes, the lower the average per day would be.

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto will be receiving a TV Anime series adaptation that is set to broadcast in 2023 (on an unannounced date). The project will be helmed by OLM and TOHO animation STUDIO.

The volume has 84,295 sold copies in its first 10 days.

Boku no Hero Academia Volume 37 has sold 601,911 copies in its first 24 days.

The higher average per day for Kusuriya no Hitorigoto: Maomao no Koukyuu Nazotoki Techou here is mainly due to its relatively shorter days of sales, shorter than any of the volumes you see in the graph below. There are no direct comparisons so far, however, overall (since Volume 11) the performance has been quite stable. Volume 16 had certainly sold more copies than Volume 14 which was at 46,127 copies sold in 3 days (the same with Volume 11 in its first 3 days), averaging at 15,376 copies per day, but remains mostly unchanged when compared to Volume 13’s 52,034 copies in 3 days, averaging at 17,345 copies per day.

When compared to its past volumes with 7 days of sales, Majo Taisen: 32-nin no Isai no Majo wa Koroshiau Volume 6 sold 33.68% and 31.96% less than Volumes 3 and 4 — they were at 45,540 copies and 44,387 copies back in December 2021 and June 2022. The series also made its debut with Volume 5 at 26,172 copies sold in 4 days back in October 2022.

The series was last seen with Volume 10 on COMIC ZIN’s list back in December 2021 in its first 2 days.

The volume has sold 163,860 copies in its first 17 days.

This is the series first ever appearance on Oricon Top 30 chart since the Blog began tracking.

The series was last seen selling 32,932 copies for Volume 6 in its first 3 days back in August 2022.

SILVER LINK. adapted the work into a 12-episode TV Anime series in 2020 and a sequel is currently airing this season (Winter 2023) as of the time of writing, produced by the same studio.

The series last made an appearance with Volume 19 at 16,784 copies sold, not in its first 2 days, but in the next 7 days on Oricon Top 30 sales chart.

Wakako-zake received a 12-episode TV Anime series adaptation by studio Office DCI that aired from July 5 to September 20, 2015.

There have been no significant changes when compared to Ui x Kon’s past volumes against Volume 11. The latest volume has the shortest days of sales in the graph below with Volumes 8, 9 and 10 all at 6 days, 5 days and 4 days respectively. The series’ performance so far is quite stable.

The volume has sold 126,204 copies in its first 17 days.

The volume has achieved 89,266 copies sold in its first 14 days.

The volume has achieved 596,949 copies in its first 54 days.
