Many of the titles that you see below have been discussed in the TSUTAYA’s sales chart for the same week, so do have a look at it right here. Please note that while Oricon tracks sales from a huge number of stores in Japan, the sales data below are not at the fullest since some stores do not participate in Oricon’s daily surveys. There are no direct comparisons for Fuuto Tantei Volume 14‘s sales of 29,049 copies in its first three days. However, considering its average sales per day, although the graph shows a significant increase, it is unlikely that the total number of copies sold would have exceeded the 49,808 copies sold by Volume 10 in six days. If Volume 14 had been available for sale for three more days, it might have approached the number of copies sold by Volume 13, which sold 43,135 copies in six days. Nevertheless, if Volume 14 had a full week of sales, it could have potentially outsold Volume 11 and Volume 12 (both sold over the course of seven days).

Fuuto Tantei is serialized in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits. For further information about the work, you can visit its official web page, where you can also find the first Manga chapter in Japanese. Studio Kai adapted the work into a 12-episode TV Anime series that was broadcast from August 1 to October 17, 2022.

Kininatteru Hito ga Otoko ja Nakatta Volume 1 has reached 73,277 copies sold in its first 12 days.
Idolish7 dominated the charts for the week between April 24 and April 30, claiming the top spot on Oricon’s list with sales of 177.30 million yen (≈1.32 million USD). The majority of these sales were attributed to its Video segment, with the Music segment also contributing to the total. This success was driven by the release of Idolish7 7th Anniversary Event “ONLY ONCE, ONLY 7TH.” Blu-ray BOX, which sold 6,185 copies, and the final volume of the Anime series IDOLiSH7: Third Beat!, which sold 5,227 copies, both within a span of five days (source here).
Yuru Camp△ and Bocchi the Rock! also saw significant sales in their respective Video segments for the week. Yuru Camp△ secured the second position with sales of 171.81 million yen (≈1.28 million USD), largely boosted by the release of the Yuru Camp△ Movie, which sold a total of 15,018 copies within its first five days. Bocchi the Rock! closely followed in third place with sales of 160.02 million yen (≈1.19 million USD) thanks to the release of its 5th Anime volume, which achieved the series’ best debut sales performance to date with 20,316 copies sold in five days. Notably, Yuru Camp△ had an additional sales segment in Books and Novels, giving it an edge over Bocchi the Rock!, which only derived sales from the Video, Music, and Manga segments. It’s worth mentioning that Video sales were the primary contributors for both series during that week.
