To start off, both One Piece Volume 100 and Kaijuu 8-gou Volume 4 retain their positions at Number 1 and Number 2 albeit fewer copies sold week-on-week. Sales are down 63.66% for One Piece to 426,219 copies while Kaijuu 8-gou retreats 44.87% to 183,258 copies sold for the week. Nevertheless, One Piece Volume 100’s sales have propelled it to a good two-week performance at 1,599,159 copies sold, its best so far since Volume 93. This marks a 11.32% improvement over Volume 99 within the same period. Kaijuu 8-gou Volume 8 on the other hand, witnesses lower two-week copies sold as it notes a minor drop of 2.01%. It is too early to tell if sales have matured for the title, the following volume should give us a better idea once it is released.

It is thanks to the wonderful people over at Oricon that we get to see these charts on a weekly basis, so be sure to head over to the site here and show them lots of love! Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Manga) and here (Series).
Several of the new titles as mentioned in my TSUTAYA and COMIC ZIN’s chart post right here are also found on the list with MF Ghost Volume 12 at the forefront with 77,811 copies sold in its first week. Debut-to-debut sales have increased 19.29% over the title’s 11th volume which at the week of its release saw 62,799 copies sold. Isekai Nonbiri Nouka Volume 8 is placed at Number 7. Sales are slightly lower than Volume 7’s 51,688 copies sold in its first week, but is still better than Volume 6’s 42,037 copies sold.

Things are not looking so good for Mahoutsukai no Yome. The 16th Volume plunges debut-to-debut by 43.37% to 44,802 copies from Volume 15’s 79,120 copies. Note that the new volume only has three days of sales, thus it should recover the following week. That said, sales have been on a continuous drop for the series, yet it should at least be able to see copies sold breaching the 100,000 copies sold mark for its two-week sales. If it does not, it may be in its decline stage, which spells trouble for the series.

Other new releases can be found at Number 9 and Number 10 with Darwin’s Game Volume 24 and 1-nichi Gaishutsuroku Hanchou Volume 12. The 24th volume of Darwin’s Game reports much better copies sold over Volume 23’s 29,861 copies as it jumps 30.98% debut-to-debut. The same can be said for the 12th volume of 1-nichi Gaishutsuroku Hanchou, which sees a small improvement over Volume 10’s 40,195 copies sold. Sales are up 5.58% debut-to-debut to 42,571 copies sold.
