Oricon has released the top 30 weekly Manga ranking for the period between October 21, 2019 to October 27, 2019 available through their site here. ONE PIECE unfortunately lost its top spot for the week seeing it drop a spot to number 2 making way for GIANT KILLING to grab the week’s number 1 spot albeit with a not so impressive sales. Now that I think about it, we have not received a sequel for the Anime. Perhaps this would be a good indicator for any studio to pick up? I enjoyed the show, and I hope it would receive a sequel in the near future. Although GIANT KILLING did not make much of an impression in terms of sales, what did in fact made an impression is Kimetsu no Yaiba. The series dominates the ranking yet again but this time, other than the number 4, it occupies the entire spots from number 7 to number 23 with a whopping sales of 885,340 copies for the week! I guess now we know what the wallets went for that week. For the full top 30 list, they are as below:
