It would seem that Kimetsu no Yaiba’s sales may very well be entering the decline stage as according to Oricon’s latest Manga sales chart, none of its volumes made into the top 10 list. However, it is too early to tell as there is a chance that sales may pick up the week after. Perhaps by then, we shall know for sure. Also, not all of its volumes are accounted for this time in the top 30 chart as only 14 out of its 19 volumes made into the top 30 with volume 7 to 10 and 18 missing from the list. Kimetsu no Yaiba’s volume 20 is expected to go on sale this coming 1st of May. The sales chart is available here and show your love to the awesome guys at Oricon over here!
The week’s chart is greeted by a number of new titles in its top 10. Nevertheless, it should be noted that sales are weaker compare to the week before. Yakusoku no Neverland takes the week’s top spot, but sales have plummeted nearly 60%. The same can be said about Boku no Hero Academia’s latest volume which dropped a spot from last week’s number 1. Its sales dropped 62% from selling 288,727 copies the week before to 108,669 copies. Haikyuu!! which was at number 2 last week, slipped 3 spots to number 5 and saw the biggest drop compare to the other 2. Sales fell almost 67% from last week’s 267,517 copies sold to 88,819 copies.
Some of the new titles making into the top 10 include Mahoutsukai no Yome (No. 3), Yuru Camp△ (No. 4), Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san (No. 6) and Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san (No. 7) while Shinkoshoto‘s Manga adaptation of its novels occupy spots No. 8 and No. 9. At number 10 is Fairy Tail’s sequel with its latest volume.
