The 6th volume of Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan – Hokkaido-hen could not impress in its first week of sales as total copies sold recorded plunges to 75,731 copies debut-to-debut, the lowest it has had so far since the release of its 1st volume. Note that the volume went on sale July the 1st, and had four days of sales. The sales performance should be observed further on Week 2 as there is still a chance that it may recover.

Debut sales have also fallen for Ao no Exorcist Volume 27 as its previous three volumes have managed to keep numbers above 100,000 copies sold in their first weeks. This is not true for Volume 27 where copies sold have dipped below 100,000 copies to 70,089 copies. Blue Giant Explorer Volume 3 however, saw debut-to-debut sales improve by 38.02% from 39,062 copies it had for Volume 2 in its first week to 63,021 copies. Like Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan – Hokkaido-hen and Ao no Exorcist, Black Clover Volume 29 has also shared the same fate seeing its weakest debut sales so far among its latest eight volumes. Sales have dropped debut-to-debut from Volume 28’s 65,942 copies to 55,961 copies. If Week 2 is able to bring that number up to around a total of 140,000 copies, sales should be as usual for the title, but if it does not, things may not look so well for its 29th volume.

Two more new releases other than the three mentioned above also make the Top 10 chart for the week, which includes number 7’s Chi.: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite by Uoto at 38,553 copies sold. At number 9 is Akuyaku Reijou wa Ringoku no Outaishi ni Dekiai sareru Volume 8 with 36,111 copies sold in its first week. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
