A rather slow week with only four new releases making the Top 30 list between June 28 to July 4. Taking home the top spot for the week is the latest volume of Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken at 258,192 copies sold. Compared to the release of its 17th volume in its first week, Volume 18 sees fewer number of copies sold by 19.88% from Volume 17’s 322,239 copies (its best performing volume thus far). Week 2, based on previous trend suggests that numbers should be able to hit above 300,000 copies, though 400,000 copies like how Volume 17 had achieved would be most welcome. It does seem likely that the Manga may very well be able to do so.

At Number 2 is Mystery to Iu nakare with its 9th volume selling 87,104 copies in its first week. The series has been recording steady growth since the release of its 1st volume, and an impressive one at that seeing a sharp rise between Volume 4 to Volume 5 and Volume 7 to Volume 8. Volume 9 could not retain above 100,000 copies mark that Volume 8 did in its first week to see debut-to-debut sales fall by 27.04%. If subsequent volumes could not see copies sold reach the level of Volume 8, sales may have already matured for the title.

But, WOW! Look at Tokyo Revengers and its performance for the week, very menacing. Note that the latest volume for the series is still Volume 22, and all volumes are accounted for this time around in the Top 30 list. In total, the title has sold 1,008,077 copies! Note that there are still other related products such as Tokyo Revengers Character Book which was released in April 2021 which is not on the list.
