Sales are pretty sluggish the week between July 27 to August 2 for Manga in Japan according to Oricon’s latest sales chart available here. The latest volume of Made in Abyss tops the week’s chart at 80,936 copies sold, this is followed by Ao Ashi at number 2 with 73,552 copies sold. Another new title comes in at number 4, Bite Maker: Ousama no Ω’s fifth volume debuted at 38,891 copies sold. The Top 30 features only three new titles making into the chart for the week.

Although sales of Kimetsu no Yaiba are slow for the week, the series’ footprints are still as visible as ever. All volumes are accounted for. Besides, the series has a tendency of recovering the week after. Surprisingly though, while it is quite apparent that Spy x Family has been doing well in Japan, it is been going quite steady. For the week, it gives off a similar vibe to Kimetsu no Yaiba, very subtle. Volumes one to four are all present in the chart, each selling over 20,000 copies. Below is the full list:
