Japan Top Weekly Manga Ranking: December 6, 2021 ~ December 12, 2021

One Piece Volume 101 keeps its Number 1 spot as sales head into its 10th day. However, this is its weakest performance amongst those that were charted with the same number of days. The 376,607 copies sold allows the volume to reach 1,363,334 copies, down in comparison to Volumes 94, 96, 99 and 100, all had the same number of days when charted.

It is thanks to the amazing people over at Oricon that we get to see these charts on a weekly basis, so be sure to head over to their site here and show them lots of love! Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Manga) and here (Series). Of course, if you are more comfortable with Google charts, feel free to visit their respective charts by clicking their links at the bottom of the post.

The chart also features a number of new notable releases headed by the 19th and latest volume of Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, placing 2nd on the list with 250,717 copies. If you head all the way to the bottom 11 to 30 list, you will find its Limited Edition at the 14th place with 39,440 copies. In total, that would be 290,157 copies sold, perhaps its best so far since Volume 12. Note that the volume has 4 days of sales, the same with Volumes 15 and 18. The high sales noted for Volume 17 is due to its longer days of sales of 5 days.

Sales for Mystery to Iu nakare remains strong with its 10th volume seeing 102,331 copies in just 3 days. This would be by far its best performance given that other than Volumes 4 and 9, which had 3 days of sales, the rest were charted at longer days of sales. Volume 8 for instance, had 5 days of sales to allow it to amass 119,384 copies sold.

As for Arslan Senki Volume 16, copies sold are rather stable with its latest volume at 85,858 copies sold in 4 days. Both Volumes 14 and 15 accumulated above 100,000 copies sold as of their 5th day while Volume 12 and 13 were at 93,123 copies and 61,695 copies by their 3rd day. Copies sold for Volume 16 would have had a similar turnout as Volumes 15 and 16 had it went a day longer.

Mix Volume 18 is 8th for the week at 79,177 copies sold, down 19.66% from Volume 17 which had the same number of days of sales. Volume 16 had an advantage over the two latest volumes thanks to its longer days of sales of 5 days, thus it was able to see 127,416 copies sold.
