Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun‘s Volume 15 leads Oricon sales chart for the week between April 26 to May 2 with sales reaching almost a 100,000 copies sold. This is still less than sales of Volume 13, nevertheless is a welcoming number. Coming in at 2nd place is yet another title from Square Enix, Disney Twisted-Wonderland Anthology‘s Volume 2 with 75,914 copies sold for the week. The good run for Square Enix’s titles did not stop there as Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru saw sales improving by 17.56% to see it jump seven spots to number 7. The series ended the week with 49,853 copies sold. Its two-week sales now stand at 90,950 copies.
It is thanks to the wonderful people over at Oricon that we get to see these charts on a regular basis, so be sure to head over to their site here, and show them some love! Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Manga) and here (Series).
The Top 10 also features a number of new releases including Coffee & Vanilla‘s Volume 17 which saw better debut sales than its previous volume. Volume 16 sold 43,232 copies in its first week while Volume 17 witnessed a 21.05% improvement to see sales hit 54,756 copies. Mashle at number 8 however, could not perform as well as hoped. Volume 6’s debut sales fell short of Volume 5’s 74,222 copies in March. The relatively short sales window may be a contributor to the lower sales. More observation should be made to see if sales can improve the following week. Good news is though, the total circulation for the Manga has reached 1,400,000 copies! At number 9, you will find Boruto: Naruto Next Generations which debut sales have been on a decline since Volume 11. Still, the peak that Volume 11 hit only lasted for a week, while Volume 12 lasted two weeks on Oricon’s sales chart. Two-week sales for the 12th volume were at a good 106,631 copies at the time.

Kingdom‘s Volume 61 experienced quite the hard slip as sales are down 84.14% for the week. Volume 61 remains its weakest so far among its latest seven volumes as three-week sales have only totaled 575,038 copies sold. Compared to Volume 55’s 699,241 copies and Volume 59’s 690,155 copies.

Jigokuraku‘s final volume debuts with decent sales, though there is a possibility that sales may pick up the following week. Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo and Goblin Slayer did not make onto the Top 30 chart the week before, however sales seem to have gotten better on Week 2 for the two. Well, hands down for Tokyo卍Revengers which had an excellent week! Five of its volumes have breached the Top 30, with many more I am sure in the lower bottom 31 to 50.
