The volume five of Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld debuted a lot better than the ones before seeing the number of copies sold going above 9,000 during the week. Volume four of the title sold 8,377 copies in March, while volume three sold 8,671 copies (note that these are sales during its first week of release). This is certainly a welcoming result for the series as the arc nears its end. Don’t forget that together with sales of its DVDs, the title in total has sold 11,058 copies.

As for the rest in the chart, well… not much honestly. Sales of Princess Connect! Re:Dive are still steady in Japan, though volume two has dropped significantly – which is a pretty normal trend – by nearly 85% after a glorious entrance the week before. It is not just its volume two that made the list, volume one is also still in the chart selling 1,336 copies for the week. Cumulatively, the series sold 4,637 copies during the period.
Other than that, only three new titles made the chart for the period between September 7 to September 13, Strike the Blood III at number 3, Tsugu Tsugumomo at number 9 while Hanayamata occupies the 10th spot. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (No. 7) came out from nowhere this time around. It made into the chart back in 2019 (see August). This may be brought about due to its impending PS5 release, well anyways the full list is as follows:
