Sales of Anime Blu-rays and DVDs for the week between September 21 to September 27 showed amazing recovery, with both departments having better representations in the Top Blu-ray and Top DVD charts provided by Oricon, both of which are available through the links here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). Taking the crown for the week is Saekano’s latest film, Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata Fine, the Limited Release of the movie sold 36,258 copies in its first week, a welcoming figure indeed. Following closely at number 2 is another theatrical release, Made in Abyss Movie 3 which managed to sell 13,660 copies while Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Kan is 3rd, selling 9,194 copies. These are just numbers for their Blu-rays. If sales of DVD copies are taken into account, the numbers for the Top 3 will look a lot better, that should put Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata Fine at 41,089 copies, Made in Abyss Movie 3 (plus all editions) 15,806 copies and Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Kan at 10,694 copies.

This week, we are quite lucky to be able to have the full actual sales data for all the Top 10 Anime Blu-rays sold in Japan, with a bonus number 11. There will be some interesting and familiar faces coming out the week between September 28 to October 4, which includes the fourth volumes of Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai?: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen and Princess Connect! Re:Dive. Sales of Kaguya-sama have been pretty slow, hopefully it will be a lot better. For the full list, it is as follows:
