Oricon has finally released the weekly sales stats for the 3rd week of September available on their site here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). It would seem that people have been keeping their wallets shut tight in preparation for Production I.G’s release of Psycho-Pass’s movie trilogy with all three taking the top 3 spots in this week’s ranking. Not too shabby. The trio also tops Japan’s nationwide blu-ray sales this week with an impressive 24,655 in total sales. The DVD version of the series however, did not fare well in overall DVD sales. But, did well enough to claim the top 3 spots for most sold Anime DVDs last week. The list also sees a number of new additions including Shingeki no Kyojin (No. 4), Karakai Jouzu (No. 5) and a number of others making into last week’s top 10 list. List as follow:
