Stiff competition from sales of idols’ Blu-rays have made it quite difficult for Anime Blu-rays to completely breach the Top 20 Blu-ray chart for the week between October 26 to November 1. The lackluster performance displayed the previous week has seen a respite in the realms of both Anime Blu-ray and DVD with better sales recorded as we enter the month of November. High School Fleet Movie is at the top, sales of both its Blu-ray and DVD reached 16,967 copies in its first week, a tiny nudge more would have allowed it to go further than 17,000 copies. At number 2 is Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Kan’s second volume which sold 9,338 copies that week. Note that this is a slightly better outcome than sales of volume one – in its first week, 9,194 copies. Together with the sales of its DVDs, has allowed it to sell 11,095 copies that week. Not too shabby. For bronze, we get Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season first entrance into the chart, its volume one debuted with 4,730 copies sold that week.

The rest of the chart features familiar faces with all being new volumes or titles making the chart for the week. Since only five of the titles you see below made the Top 20 chart, we could only get a hold of the number of copies sold for the first five. That said, the cutoff is 2,614 copies set by Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai?: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen, and the lowest rank in the Top 20 Blu-ray chart is 2,340 copies. Expect the rest to be hovering somewhat between 1,000 copies to 2,000 copies. The full list is as follows:
