Sales of Anime Blu-rays and DVDs have slowed the week between November 30 to December 6 as only four titles were placed in Oricon’s Top 20 Blu-ray sales chart available here. The week’s chart is led by Adachi to Shimamura with a fair amount of sales, at 1,799 copies. Following closely behind is IDOLiSH7, which did not budge from its previous week’s position. Sales have diminished by 84.32% for Volume 1, but it still manages to keep the number above 1,000 copies sold. Frozen II, which was absent the prior week has climbed all the way to clinch the 3rd spot, settling themselves with 1,001 copies sold.
Other than Adachi to Shimamura, there are two more new releases in the list: Long Way North (No. 5) and Detective Conan: Kaiju Gomera vs. Kamen Yaiba (No. 6). Expect sales to continue to be sluggish the following week due to few releases. Some of the noteworthy titles coming out December 7 to December 13 are Sword Art Online – War of Underworld Volume 8 and Fugou Keiji: Balance:Unlimited Volume 3.
