Although sales have slowed down for titles that made their appearances the week before, Anime Blu-ray sales remain strong as it heads into the first week of June. Copies sold are down by 50.80% for Uma Musume: Pretty Derby (TV) Season 2, however it is still placed 1st on Oricon’s chart with an excellent 55,123 copies made in Week 2. This would put its two-week sales at 167,153 copies! Do expect it to still be ranked the following week.

As for Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai which places 3rd for the week, sales have stumbled hard by 91.44% to see copies sold down to 1,581 copies. Yet, it recorded better two-week sales compared to Volume 5’s 17,990 copies.

The week also welcomed two new releases with Fate/Grand Carnival 1st Season [Limited Release] at 2nd place with an impressive 20,646 copies sold! Together with sales of its DVDs, the release has sold 24,520 copies in its first week. Head over to number 9 and you will find Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun Volume 4 which continues to disappoint. The week after will not see that many new releases making onto the chart, though the week between June 14 to June 20 will definitely be an interesting one.
