Fate/stay night Movie: Heaven’s Feel – III. Spring Song blasted through Oricon’s chart with outstanding sales in its first week. The total of all its Blu-ray editions plus DVD edition sold a total of 84,510 copies, a considerable increase over sales of its previous volumes in their debut weeks. At the time, Volume 1 sold 61,889 copies while Volume 2 saw numbers up from debut sales of Volume 1 to 69,832 copies (source: MAL and Crunchyroll). Other than that, there aren’t many noticeable new releases for the week with only Majo Minarai wo Sagashite (No. 3) making its way onto the Top 10. The title sold 2,824 copies for the week. The rest are all familiar titles that have made the chart the week before. Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai and Guraburu! both faced significant drops in the number of copies sold for the week. DVD sales are sluggish for the week as only Spring Song being the only title making onto Oricon’s Top 20 DVD chart. Expect weak turnout the following week due to lack of new releases.
