The week’s Blu-ray chart is led by a weak opening of the latest volume of Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Kan as debut sales for its Volume 5 plunges 36.69% compared to Volume 4 in its first week. Sales are at a decent 5,501 for the volume. This is the third consecutive drop for sales of its volumes in their first weeks. Number of copies sold were fairly consistent for volumes 1 to 3 during their debuts, hovering above 9,000 copies. But, it dropped slightly for Volume 4, below the 9,000 copies mark. It is far too soon to gauge its actual performance as there is a chance that sales on Week 2 may push the number up. Thus, it is best to observe how it will perform the following week. Volume 6 will be the final volume, releasing March the 26th.

Adachi to Shimamura on the other hand, has been witnessing better sales from the release of its first volume. Note that, Volume 1 sold under 2,000 copies in its first week, and the climb started from Volume 2 where sales breached the 2,000 copies mark. Although growth is not large, it has recorded better sales volume-to-volume in their first weeks. The total debut sales from Volume 1 to Volume 4 currently stand at 9,131 copies.
Volume 3 of Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai fell hard by 87,97% to see sales ended at 2,400 copies for the week. Classic, Digimon Adventure received a sweet Blu-ray Box set on March 6, and it performed decently on the chart at 2,363 copies sold. However, sales are rather slow for new Blu-ray and DVD releases week-on-week and will maintain to be so the week between March 8 to March 14 due to lack of new releases.
