Performance of Anime Blu-rays and DVDs are in a slump for the week between June 29 to July 5 after posting better sales the prior week. Only four titles made into the Top 20 Blu-rays sold in Japan according to Oricon here with Frozen II climbing back up to regain its number 1 spot in the Anime Blu-ray chart. Kimetsu no Yaiba, which occupied the first position the week before, saw a dramatically drop in sales plunging it to the 4th place. Sales have dropped by almost 90% for its eleventh volume.
Following closely behind Frozen II is Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken, an Anime series which ran back in 1991. The Blu-ray edition of the title debuted at a humble 2,000 copies sold for the week. At number 3, is Tenki no Ko. Like Frozen II, its rank has improved as it climbed 7 spots from number 10 the previous week.

Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta… and Ishuzoku Reviewers which were in the chart the week before are nowhere to be seen for the week.
