Ten Anime titles made into the Top 20 Blu-rays sold in Japan for the week between June 15 to June 21, hence we are blessed with the full data of the Top 10 Anime for the said week! Again, it is thanks to Oricon that we get to see these charts on a weekly basis, so be sure to head over to their site here and show them some love!
Frozen II is still going strong in Japan and retains its number 1 spot for the third consecutive week for the month of June. However, sales are continue to slide down for the title. The same can be said for Tenki no Ko. The title occupies the 3rd and 7th spots for the week, but sales have fallen a lot harder for the two.
The week also witnessed 6 new titles or volumes that were released on June 17 breaching the Top 10 list with two volumes of the animated version of Shin Sakura Taisen at number 6 and 8 while Dorohedoro’s final volume trails Frozen II at number 2.
A huge number of titles or new volumes are expected to be released from the week between June 22 to June 28 according to gameiroiro here such as Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai?: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen, GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation Season 2, Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia, Kimetsu no Yaiba and Kakushigoto (TV).
