It is quite unfortunate that sales of Blu-ray is quite lackluster the week between July 6 to July 12 according to Oricon’s latest chart available here. Only three titles out of the ten in the week’s Blu-ray list made into the Top 20 Blu-rays sold in Japan with KING OF PRISM ALL STARS – Prism Show☆Best Ten – taking the top spot. DVDs on the hand, performed slightly better, however since the full data for the Top 10 Anime Blu-rays sold is not available, it is hard to tell.
Only two new titles made into the week’s Top 10 chart with KING OF PRISM ALL STARS – Prism Show☆Best Ten – being one of them. The other is Tsugumomo at number 4. On the other hand, sales of Frozen II and Tenki no Ko continue to fall.

Sales will most likely recover a little the following week as new volumes for titles such as Shin Sakura Taisen the Animation, Show By Rock!!
