Sales for Anime Blu-rays continue to stay strong as they enter the month of July, while DVDs are mostly supported by sales of Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie. Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Ressha-hen despite its ongoing drop sees sales reaching 35,708 copies for the week. The Uma Musume series got a hold of four spots in the week’s list as the new season’s Blu-ray Volume 2 and Volume 1 place 4th and 10th respectively, at the same time Season 1’s Volume 4 and Volume 1 are at Number 8 and Number 11. Season 2’s volumes have a decent turnout of 4,781 copies in total for the week.

Though, I have to say that it is quite interesting to see how Chinese media products are gaining traction in Japan. Recently we have seen volumes from Mo Dao Zu Shi comfortably making onto the charts with surprisingly decent sales. This time Luo Xiao Hei Zhan Ji does it even better. Sales for its Limited Edition debuts at a very healthy 26,574 copies, allowing it to take home the top spot. Its Regular Edition settles for 6th spot at 2,240 copies sold. Onto its DVDs, performance is quite well as well. There, Limited Edition sold 5,682 copies while 1,103 copies were recorded for its Regular Edition. As such, the title sold a combined of 35,599 copies for the week! Not too shabby at all. You can check the trailer for the title down below.
Other new releases include: Azur Lane: Bisoku Zenshin! Volume 2 at number 3 with 4,155 copies sold and Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season Volume 1 at number 5 with 2,652 copies sold. Note that, Azur Lane: Bisoku Zenshin! Volume 2’s debut sales is slightly more than Volume 1’s 4,107 copies back in May. Not to forget, Tokyo Revengers is also on the list with its latest volume. Together with sales of its DVDs, it registered 3,616 copies sold. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
