The massive drop in sales of Boku no Hero Academia the Movie 2: Heroes:Rising paved way for Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta… (Hamefura)’s latest volume to claim the top spot for the week between July 20 to July 26 according to Oricon’s latest chart here. Though the third volume of the title has somewhat debuted slightly lesser than its previous two volumes, Hamefura’s sales are pretty much constant, hovering around the 4,000 copies sold mark per volume. Volume 1 sold 4,698 copies in its first week while Volume 2 sold 4,895 copies.
At number 5, you will find Kakushigoto, which is quite a surprise since the first volume did not make into the previous charts. Sitting in at the edge of the Blu-ray list is Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World, the complete set was released on July 22, 2020. In total, there are three new titles making into the week’s chart.

As for other titles, both Frozen II and Tenki no Ko saw an increase in sales throughout the week. Boku no Hero Academia however, has seen number of copies sold falling after a strong debut the week before. If you are interested to see what titles are coming to shelves the following weeks, I have listed the sites you can refer to down below. Gameiroiro, I noticed is missing a number of titles on their calendars. For the week between July 27 to August 2, you would want to pay attention to these titles: Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown, Strike the Blood IV, Ishuzoku Reviewers; Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai?: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T. All are some of the heavyweight titles releasing on the 29th of July.
