Thanks to Shirobako Movie, Anime sales chart for the week between January 4 to January 10 looks much healthier compared to the previous two weeks. The film leads with a total of 12,243 copies sold for its Blu-ray releases while 567 copies recorded for its DVD release. Together, it sold 12,810 copies for the week.

Apart from Shirobako, the chart saw two new releases making into its list for Anime Blu-ray Top 10, this includes: Adachi to Shimamura at number 2 with 2,343 copies sold while KING OF PRISM ALL SERIES Blu-ray Disc “Dream Goes On!” settles for 4th place with 1,705 copies sold. The chart remains lackluster due to few number of new releases and will go on for the next couple of weeks. Some new releases to look out for the following January 11 to January 17 release are Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Raihousha-hen and Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Kan.
