Some of you have probably seen this coming miles away, seeing the rise of the Anime’s popularity and the recent success of its Manga, it is without a doubt that Jujutsu Kaisen would top the Anime Blu-ray chart for the period between January 18 to January 24. The debut sales of the title’s first volume made a pronounced appearance with sales of its Blu-rays reaching 14,935 copies whereas its DVDs, though a lot humbler, had a good turnout of 7,766 copies sold. In total, the series sold 22,701 copies in its first week! Also, do check out the unboxing video I made for the volume right here. Although the number is quite less than the amount of copies sold by Princess Connect! Re:Dive in 2020, this is still an astonishing feat if you compare to other series (taking out films, OVA and etc). Check out the comparison (Blu-ray only) made below:
