Sales of Anime Blu-rays and DVDs performed rather well the last week for February according Oricon latest chart available here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). It is thanks to Oricon that we are able to see the weekly public available ranking for free, so please pay them a visit!
The top 10 ranking is filled with new faces with Girls & Panzer Das Finale Episode 2 at number 1 with an estimated number of 44,832 copies sold for the week between February 24 and March 1. This is followed by Hibike! Euphonium’s third movie installation at number 2 with 15,927 copies sold. Together, with its Standard Edition, Hibike! Euphonium has sold 19,181 copies for the week. Sword Art Online: Alicization War of Underworld’s 3rd volume settles for number 3 with a total of 8,671 copies sold.
The week also saw improvement in the overall sales of Anime physical copies according to Oricon’s top Blu-rays sold nationwide Japan, all of the titles occupying the week’s top 10 Anime Blu-ray ranking made into the top 20 list of Blu-rays sold for the week. You can see the list here.
Apart from that, we also see sales improved for a number of series compare to their previous volumes debut such as Sword Art Online where its 2nd volume debuted with 8,561 copies sold for the week between January 27, 2020 ~ February 2, 2020. This time, it’s 3rd volume sold 8,671 copies. Although not much, it has seen a 1.3% increase in sales. I have summarized the comparison down below:

Unfortunately, Kimetsu no Yaiba’s volume 8 sales is down 11.82% compare to when volume 7 debuted in January. Fate/Grand Order also saw a decline with volume 7 selling 13.75% more than volume 8. For the full list it is as follows:
