It has been a while since we last saw Anime Blu-rays performing splendidly on Oricon’s Top 20 Blu-ray sales chart. 14 titles made their way onto the Top 20 for the week between February 22 to February 28 with the 3rd volume of Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai leading the troupe. It sold 19,947 copies for the week, up 1.72% from debut sales of Volume 2. The total for all volumes sold during its debut has now reached 61,895 copies. Following closely behind is the third and final volume of Soukyuu no Fafner: The Beyond, which has been on upward trend. Volume 3 ended the week at 8,281 copies sold, up 4.48% from debut sales of Volume 2. Note that, together with sales of its DVDs, Volume 3 sold a total of 9,154 copies.

Another title that has been on a upward trajectory would be Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki 5th Season. Although increment between the debut sales of Volume 4 and Volume 5 is small, it marks the fourth overall improvement in the total of copies sold in its first week. Volume 1 had debut sales amounting to 3,341 copies, Volume 3 finally allowed the series to breach the 4,000 copies sold mark.
The list is made up of all new releases, including the classic re-release of Soukou Kihei Votoms at number 9. The second volume of Majo no Tabitabi is placed at number 10 with 3,608 copies sold, down 0.74% from debut sales of Volume 1. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
