The top 10 Blu-ray Anime sold nationwide Japan saw 8 new titles occupying the list according to Oricon latest ranking available here. It is thanks to Oricon that we are able to see the charts for free on a weekly basis, so please pay them a visit!
Azur Lane tops the chart for the period between February 17 and February 23 however, Volume 3 debuted with a lower estimated number of sales compare to Volume 2 for the period between January 20 and January 26. Volume 2 of the series managed to sell an estimated 6,246 on its first week. Volume 3 saw a 13.40% decline in sales. The series is closely trailed by Star Twinkle PreCure the Movie at number 2 with 3,401 copies sold while Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2 occupies the 3 spot with 2,403 copies sold.
Other new titles making into the chart include Psycho-Pass 3 (No. 4), Lupin The Third Prison of The Past (No. 5), SHIROBAKO Blu-ray BOX 1 and 2 (No. 7 and No. 8) and finally Boku no Hero Academia 4th Season (No. 9). Promare which sat in at number 2 the week before declined 8 spots to number 10.
