Sales for Anime(s) do not seem to be that well off for the week between December 16 and December 22 according to the latest Oricon sales chart available here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). Be sure to give the folks a visit! Sales of DVDs are the worst as none of the titles mentioned in the ranks made it into the top 20 DVDs sold in Japan for the week.
Toy Story climbed up a spot to number 1 taking over from last week’s Granblue Fantasy The Animation which is nowhere in the list. Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san’s volume 4 made into the list with a humble 2,459 copies sold in Japan for the week. Dirty Pair, Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II, Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine, Pokemon Movie 22, Re:Stage! Dream Days♪ and Kimi to, Nami ni Noretara are some of the other titles in the week’s top 10 Blu-ray sales ranking.
