Both Uma Musume: Pretty Derby (TV) Season 2 and Jujutsu Kaisen have come to close with their final releases bowing out at 142,453 copies and 13,936 copies sold respectively. It will be some time for us to see repeated massive successes like the two, in particular Uma Musume as the near future releases will be quite dry, though we can still expect some big hits, especially, when releases from the summer season start to come out.
Sales have maintained above the 100,000 copies level for Uma Musume: Pretty Derby (TV) Season 2 since the release of its 1st volume, though it peaked at Volume 2 with 150,390 copies sold. Number of copies sold in its debut week did dip later on for Volume 3 to 140,719 copies, but have now climbed 1.22% debut-to-debut to 142,453 copies for Volume 4. The total debut sales alone have put the figure at 545,592 copies sold! That is a lot for a TV series.

With eight volumes in total released, Jujutsu Kaisen remains consistent with copies sold in its first weeks, except Volume 7 which saw numbers dropping below 20,000 copies for both sales of its Blu-rays and DVDs. The highest debut sales belongs to Volume 3 where it reported 25,060 copies sold in the week of its release. Volume 8 performs slightly better than sales of Volume 7, improving as much as 9.18% debut-to-debut as it ends the week with 20,405 copies sold. The title witnesses a total of 173,830 copies sold alone for its debut sales.

Anime Blu-rays and DVDs face tough competition from non-Anime releases for the week as only six titles successfully make onto the Top 20 Blu-rays chart while only three for DVDs. Nevertheless, the film, Aria the Crepuscolo debuts with a decent 8,837 copies sold for the week. This is actually not a sequel to Aria the Avvenire, however a brand new narrative surrounding other members of the Orange Planet. The film was released this year in March 2021. There are three other new releases on the chart. At number 6, you will find Godzilla: S.P Volume 1 at 1,918 copies sold. That is the cutoff figure for the Top 20 Blu-rays, therefore you can expect copies sold for the rest at around 1,800 copies to 1,900 copies. Tonikaku Kawaii: SNS is at 9th while the 2nd volume of Thunderbolt Fantasy: Touriken Yuuki 3 settles for the last spot.
Sales for other volumes of Uma Musume: Pretty Derby (TV) Season 2 have rallied along with the release of its 4th volume as the 3rd volume climbs 19.03% week-on-week to 3,227 copies. Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Ressha-hen falls 55.66% from previous week’s 5,027 copies to 2,229 copies sold. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
