It has been a slow week between April 6 – April 12 as there were no noticeable impacts made on the weekly sales chart according to Oricon here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). However, the chart saw 4 new titles making into the list with Strike the Blood IV taking the top spot. The series managed to sell 6,938 copies for the week and is followed by the 5th volume of GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation Season 2 at number 2. The debut sales of Granblue’s 5th volume dipped compared to volume 4 which sold 7,369 copies when it came out. Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden on the other hand, occupies the 3rd spot.
While both the Special Edition and Standard Edition of Hello World managed to take the 4th and 5th spot for the week, the total cumulative of copies sold (5,803 copies) could not overtake the top 2.
It is thanks to Oricon that we are able to see these charts on a weekly basis, so do pay them a visit here and show them some love!
