While the week between April 13 – April 19 is brimming with new titles, only Sumikko Gurashi The Movie made a huge impact on the week’s sales. The theatrical release made by Studio Fanworks managed to sell a comfortable 13,000 copies for all its Blu-ray editions while in its DVD department, it sold 10,000 copies; Bringing the total amount of copies sold to slightly more than 23,000 copies. Not to shabby for its first week.

Apart from that, the week saw nearly all new titles making appearances other than Toy Story 4 which sits at number 7 for the week. The movie experienced sales climbed by almost 26% from 880 copies sold the week before to 1,188 copies for the period. Sumikko Gurashi The Movie’s Deluxe Edition is closely trailed by Azur Lane’s 5th volume at number 2. The series saw a dip from whence its 4th volume sold 6,220 copies on its debut date of 16th of March. The 5th volume sold 5,973 copies. Despite the ups and downs, the volumes sold on the series’ first week of debuts have been above 5,000 copies. They may have very well sold more than 30,000 copies thus far.
