Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e: 2-nensei-hen Volume 7 is the best-selling Light Novel for the week between June 20 and June 26 at 43,151 copies sold in its first 3 days. Despite the strong turnout, this is its third continuous drop among its volumes with 3 days of sales. To compare, its latest performance was less than Volume 1 by 4.96%, a 1.40% fall from Volume 4.5 and noted 4.61% fewer copies sold than Volume 6. Its latest sales performance should have been higher considering its impending sequel Anime TV series which is set to broadcast real soon, but no boost is observed thus far. Perhaps, that will happen once the Anime is ongoing or after the broadcast ends. The work is a follow up title to the 2015 Light Novel, Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e with more information about the series can be accessed via its official website right here. A Manga adaptation is also available by artist Shia Sasane which serialization takes place in the Comic Alive magazine. A preview of Volume 1 is available for you to check out right here for free in Japanese. You can also have a go at its Light Novel commercial that was released by KADOKAWA a year ago, and if you missed out on its latest promotional video of its soon-to-begin second Anime season, do watch it below.

Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi Volume 12 is next at 18,250 copies sold in its first 2 days, a welcoming start, but this is still 13.93% less than the 2-day sales of Volume 8 which sold 21,204 copies back in January 2020. The Light Novel began publication in November 2016, and around four months later, it was adapted into a Manga series by artist Akagishi K which serializes in the Comic Gardo magazine. At Number 3 is another title that you may be familiar with, Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Volume 30 makes its debut at 12,299 copies sold in its first 3 days, unfortunately, its downtrend continues with this volume to mark its fifth consecutive drop among volumes with the same number of days of sales. Its latest performance is slightly less by 2.04% compared to its 29th volume, however, the gap widens when compared to its other past volumes, for instance, Volume 30 sold fewer copies than Volumes 24, 25, 27 and 28 by 30.46%, 37.58%, 23.92% and 12.47% respectively. Before jumping into conclusion, note that the series is still KADOKAWA’s third biggest earner for its publication segment as of FY2022. As such, it may be generating sales elsewhere, perhaps digitally or sales overseas may play a larger role in contributing to its overall performance. Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu was initially published in January of 2014, since then, it has spawned a slew of adaptations such as a Manga series which is serialized into different parts and is still ongoing via Comic Alive. You can read several of its chapters (Part 1) right here for free in Japanese. The title was also blessed with a number of Anime adaptations, plus a visual novel game that went on sale in January 2021. If you head over to Number 10, you will also find the 7th volume of its collection of short stories at quite a decent turnout of 5,298 copies sold in its first 3 days.
