Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken Volume 20 is the best-selling volume for the week between September 26 and October 2 with its Regular Edition at 58,682 copies sold in its first 3 days, slightly down by 4.81% against Volume 16’s 61,649 copies back in Mach 2020. Its Special Edition which costs 1,800 yen (≈12 USD) each and contains postcards is not here. Note that the Special Edition volume did not make it onto any of the charts (including on Yuutaiju). Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken was first published in May 2014 under Micro Magazine’s GC Novels label and the year after, it was adapted into a Manga series by artist Taiki Kawakami which is serialized in Kodansha’s Shounen Sirius magazine. You can also check out its Manga’s first chapter for free in Japanese here or get its Light Novels which are being published officially in English by Yen Press with the 15th volume slated to arrive this coming December the 13th. According to its product description on Amazon, the series has passed 30 million copies in circulation as of its latest volume. It was adapted into a TV Anime series by studio 8bit in October 2018 and was blessed with a Season 2, split into two parts in 2021. The series is expecting a film titled “Guren no Kizuna-hen” to release on November 25 this year, and if you missed out on the film’s trailer, do watch it down below!
Akuyaku Reijou, Brocon ni Job Change Shimasu makes its third consecutive new volume debut with Volume 6 taking the 8th spot on the week’s list at 5,167 copies sold in its first 3 days. The series was last seen with Volume 4 at 7,663 copies in its first 6 days and 8,139 copies for its 5th volume in its first 5 days. Akuyaku Reijou, Brocon ni Job Change Shimasu was first published in November 2019 under KADOKAWA’s Beans Bunko label with a Manga adaptation available which initially began its serialization in May 2021 by artist Cosaji via Flos Comic. The series hit 200,000 copies in circulation back in November 2021 according to Flos Comic’s post through its official Twitter account.

Then, at Number 12, you will find the Regular Edition of Tensei shitara Ken deshita Volume 14 at 3,853 copies sold in its first 3 days. The volume however sees 11.61% fewer copies sold against the Regular Edition of Volume 12. Its 13th volume did chart on Oricon’s Top 10 chart back in March this year at 5,169 copies sold in its first 5 days. Note that its Special Edition, like Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, is not here as well. The Special Edition volume is priced 2,300 yen (≈16 USD) each and contains a booklet with a newly written extra short story. Tensei shitara Ken deshita first began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in October 2015 and was later published by Micro Magazine in July 2016 under its GC Novels label. It was then adapted into a Manga series by artist Tomoo Maruyama in December 2016 in Denshi Birz by Gentosha. Its Light Novel volumes are also available officially in English, published by Seven Seas under its Airship label with Volume 11 available for pre-order as of the time of writing. Its TV Anime series adaptation is currently underway with the first episode released on October 5, produced by studio C2C. Head over to Number 14 and Starts Publishing newest title, Oni no Ikenie Hanayome to Amai Chigiri wo: Kimon ni Himerareta Shinjitsu makes its 3rd volume debut at 3,595 copies sold in its first 5 days. You can give its 1st volume a try here in Japanese via Book Live.
Saikyou Degarashi Ouji no Anyaku Teii Arasoi makes its 10th volume debut at Number 15 with 3,576 copies sold in its first 3 days, which is a drop of 9.70% against Volume 9’s 3,960 copies back in April this year. Saikyou Degarashi Ouji no Anyaku Teii Arasoi began as a Light Novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in February 2019 until a revised version of the work was released by KADOKAWA in September the same year under its Sneaker Bunko label. It was later adapted into a Manga series by artist Yukino Amagai three months after its Light Novel official publication which is serialized in Young Ace UP. According to its latest Light Novel volume cover, the series has passed 750,000 copies in circulation. Finally, we have Maryoku Cheat na Majo ni Narimashita: Souzou Mahou de Kimama na Isekai Seikatsu Volume 7 settling for the 16th spot at 3,313 copies sold in its first 3 days. The last time the title made an appearance on any of Oricon’s lists was back for its 4th volume which charted at 2,978 copies sold in its first 7 days. Maryoku Cheat na Majo ni Narimashita first began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in April 2019 and was later officially published by Micro Magazine the same year in December under its GC Novels label. It received a Manga adaptation by artist Shin Haruhara in March 2021 that is serialized in Square Enix’s Gangan Online.
