The Light Novel sales chart for the week between September 12 and September 18 starts off with a spectacular Lycoris Recoil Ordinary Days Volume 1 at the top of the list with 35,166 copies sold in 7 days, a 58.87% rise week-on-week. This would put its 10-day sales so far at a whopping 57,301 copies sold, which is an impressive amount for a Light Novel title. The volume is expected to stay on the chart for the next couple of weeks or so.
Hoshi no Kirby Discovery: Zettou no Yume wo Uchi Kudake, the latest member to the Hoshi no Kirby Light Novel family is the 2nd best-selling volume for the week at 19,645 copies in its first 5 days. The volume sees 109.97% more copies sold than Starlight Theatre e Youkoso! which made its debut at 9,356 copies in its first 5 days back in March this year, and it is only slightly down by 9.38% from Shinsekai e Hashiri dase! Hen which sold 21,679 copies in its first 7 days.
Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken Volume 7 occupies two spots on the list with its Regular Edition much ahead of its Limited Edition (which comes with a Drama CD) at Number 3 with copies sold at 14,981 whereas the latter is 13th on the list at 4,777 copies sold. In total, that would be 19,758 copies with a revenue of 22,485,740 yen (≈158.06 thousand USD) in its first 5 days. Note that, the latest volume performance is only slightly less than Volume 5 by 0.17%. However, because Volume 5 does not possess a Limited Edition, sales wise, Volume 7 is a lot stronger. Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken first began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in December 2018 where it then received an official publication by SB Creative in June 2019 under its GA Bunko label.
