Koukyuu no Karasu’s 7th volume tops the Light Novel weekly sales chart for the week between April 18 and April 2, selling 33,486 copies in its first 4 days. If you are not familiar with the Shueisha title, it was recently announced to be receiving an Anime adaptation by Bandai Namco Pictures, which is to be aired this coming Fall Season. Director Chizuru Miyawaki is set to helm the project along with Shinji Takeuchi who will be handling the character design. You may have heard of them if you have watched the Gintama series. The TV Anime adaptation recently received a promotional video of which you can check out right down below!
Head over to Number 4 is Ousama no Propose Volume 2 by author Koushi Tachibana who previously worked on the Date A Live series. The 5-day sales of the volume netted it 7,949 copies sold, though its Volume 1 was most likely off to a better start considering it had 4,630 copies sold in just 2 days in September last year. A few weeks ago, KADOKAWA via its official Youtube channel released a promotional video for the title called “Heroine Kokuhaku” or “Heroines’ Confession” in English.
