Note. As for how some of the releases are being considered as Light Novel here, please note that I have compared them with other databases, such as crosschecking with Honto Ranking and TSUTAYA Ranking for the same week. Some titles can be tricky such as Number 2’s Yojouhan Time Machine Blues as I was struggling as whether to take it in or not. Decision was made by looking at CDJapan and MyAnimeList.
As for Number 6, it has a Manga adaptation, and is thus considered. I will create a methodology section some time later to explain further how the titles are decided. Apologies, after further research, it is found out that Real mo Tama ni wa Uso wo Tsuku is actually a Manga. Please refer here for more explanation.
There are quite a number of new releases for Light Novels in this week’s ranking with Housekishou Richard-shi no Nazo Kantei Volume 12 leading the charge at Number 3 with 8,420 copies sold in its first 3 days.
