by (Author) Tappei Nagatsuki and (Illustration) Shinichirou Otsuka
Volume Information
Release Date: June 23, 2023
Days of Sales: 3
Price: 660 yen
Publisher: KADOKAWA
Estimated number of copies sold: 8,988
Link (JPN): Vol. 34

Analysis
Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu continues to perform poorly on Oricon’s sales charts, with Volume 34 experiencing the series’ worst performance among volumes with three days of sales and potentially the weakest results since Volume 22. The number of copies sold fell below the 10,000 mark for the second consecutive time after Volume 32, with Volume 34 selling more than 50% less than Volume 25, which recorded 19,705 copies sold in three days back in December 2020.
Despite these results, the series remains KADOKAWA’s top earner in its publishing segment. For FY2023, the series ranked as KADOKAWA’s 6th bestseller. The lackluster result could be attributed to the increasing popularity of e-book sales, particularly in the home market. For more information about KADOKAWA’s FY2023 coverage, you can read it here.
Additional Comments
