Japan Top 11 Weekly Light Novel Sales Ranking: August 28 – September 3, 2023

There is a slight downtrend as the release of Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Aalya-san Volume 7 failed to improve the numbers produced by Volume 2 and Volume 4, recording a 9.52% and 19.69% drop against the two volumes, all in their first three days. However, Volume 7 did see a 12.60% uptick in copies sold against Volume 4.5 which sold 14,191 copies in its first three days back in July 2022. Volume 7 has also noted only a small improvement in copies sold against the two-day sales of Volume 6 at 15,047 copies in April 2023. With all that said, there is a chance that copies sold for Volume 7 may stabilize against the rest in the next seven days.

The series has a Manga adaptation by artist Saho Tanamachi, serialized in Kodansha’s Magazine pocket. Some of its chapters can be read for free in Japanese on the magazine’s website. Additionally, a TV Anime adaptation of the series has been announced, but its broadcast date has not yet been confirmed.

Youjo Senki was last seen with its 12th volume, titled “Mundus vult decipi, ergo decipiatur”, at 15,031 copies sold in its first four days back in February 2020. The performance of its latest volume is not as good as its last.

Note that the volume is named “Dum spiro, spero (Part 1)”.

The series was also adapted into a Manga which began its serialization on April 26, 2016 by artist Carlo Zen. More about the work can be learned via its official web page here whereas its first chapter can be read for free in Japanese right here.

In 2017, the series received a 12-episode TV Anime series adaptation by studio Nut, which was then followed by a sequel film adaptation in February 2019. Another sequel is planned for release on an unannounced date with studio Nut set to return to helm the project.

Argonaut Zenshou Douke Koushin last made its appearance with its Part 1 volume at 8,780 copies sold in its first four days between July 10 and July 16, 2023 which is a rather stable outcome against its latest volume.

There are no direct comparisons against Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja Volume 19‘s five-day sales performance against its past volumes. That said, the latest volume has performed amicably, noting quite the jump in copies sold against the seven-day sales of Volume 15 and Volume 18 which were at 5,055 copies and 5,060 copies sold each in their first seven days respectively. Volume 2 has an edge over Volume 19 as it sold 4,820 copies in just two days.

The series has an ongoing Manga adaptation by artist Dicca Suemitsu that is serialized in Comic Ride of which more information about the work can be found here. Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon Volume 7 has sold 175,946 copies in its first 52 days.

In total, the debut sales performance of Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka Eiyuutan: Argonaut series alone has reached 23,095 copies with a revenue of 33,061,300 yen (≈224.51 thousand USD).

This Special Edition volume contains the first and second parts of Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka Eiyuutan: Argonaut Zenshou Douke Koushin and comes with a hardcover.

Gimai Seikatsu Volume 9 has reached 7,315 copies sold in its first 10 days.

This is Tensei shitara Saiai no Kazoku ni Mou Ichido Deaemashita Zensei no Cheat de Oishii Gohan wo Tsukurimasu‘s first ever appearance on Oricon’s Top 10 Light Novel sales chart.

Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru. Ordinary Case: Nagisa Natsunagi wa Mada, Joshikousei de Itai Volume 1 has sold 5,297 copies in its first 10 days.
