Japan Top 12 Weekly Light Novel Ranking: December 13, 2021 ~ December 19, 2021

Tensei shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu Volume 6 leads the Light Novel sales chart between December 13 to December 19 with 11,063 copies sold in its first 5 days, higher than Volume 4’s 10,932 copies which when charted had the same number of days. It failed to rank for its 5th volume due to a short number of days of sales of 2 days, but found itself ranked 3rd at 8,599 copies sold the week after. The Light Novel also has a Manga adaptation of the same name published via Comic Earth☆Star. You can have a look at the first chapter here in Japanese. On April 28, 2021, Earth Star Entertainment released a promotional video to celebrate the series 500,000 copies in printed circulation.

Following right after is Hoshi no Kirby’s latest Light Novel titled, Nazo to Jiken no Pupupu Train?! At quite a decent 9,843 copies sold in its first 5 days. It last made its appearance with Dedede Daiou no Dassou Daisakusen in July with 8,408 copies sold, also in its first 5 days.

You may be interested in Number 3’s Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko Volume 11 which 2 day sales netted a splendid 8,255 copies sold. Previously, it charted at 7th place with Volume 10 back in December 2020 to see 13,261 copies sold in its first 6 days, though it failed to rank for Volume 9 amid a short number of days of sales. Between October to December, 2020, the series was adapted into a 12-episode series by Maho Film. In June this year, a follow up season was announced, though its broadcasting date is still unknown. The Light Novel also has a Manga adaptation of the same name via Manga UP! of which its first chapter can be read here for free in Japanese.

Jump all the way to Number 10, and you will find AlphaPolis’ Izure Saikyou no Renkinjutsushi? Volume 11 at 4,418 copies sold in 3 days. According to the cover of the page, the series has now hit 590,000 copies in printed circulation. Copies sold for its previous volumes are quite unstable with rare appearances on the chart. Volume 6 was ranked 8th back in October 2019 at 7,550 copies sold while Volume 7 was at 8,889 copies in March 2020. It has not seen itself placed after that for the subsequent volumes. Finally, at Number 12 is Rune Teikoku Chuukouki: Heimin no Shounin ga Koutei ni nari, Koutei wa Shougun ni, Shougun wa Shounin ni Irekawarite Tenka wo Mawasu by author Akamitsu Awamura who have worked on a number of titles before this such as: Seiken Tsukai no World Break, Ore no Onna Tomodachi ga Saikou ni Kawaii. and Waga Gyouyuu ni Furueyo Tenchi: Alexis Teikoku Kouryuuki. The Light Novel makes its debut at 3,587 copies, quite a low turnout considering its 6 days of sales. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
