There are no direct comparisons to Koukyuu Kisaki no Kanrinin Volume 8‘s performance. However, the latest outcome falls slightly below that of Volume 5, which sold 5,617 copies in five days. In addition, the series saw sales of 5,921 copies and 5,686 copies for Volume 6 and Volume 7, respectively, within their first six days.
