Likewise, Chainsaw Man: Buddy Stories saw the author teaming up with Tatsuki Fujimoto, the original author of the work.

It is thanks to the amazing people over at Oricon that we get to see these charts on a weekly basis, so be sure to head over to their site here and show them lots of love! Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Light Novel). I have also left all the Google charts in their respective links all the way down at the bottom of the post.

Jump over to Number 3 and you will find Hakoniwa no Hina Nijuurasen’s 14th volume at 8,036 copies sold. The Boys Love title missed out on the chart the week before seeing it only had 3 days of sales at the time. This is a series penned by Rieko Yoshihara with illustrations by Yamimaru Enjin. It is currently serialized via Tokuma Shoten’s Chara magazine.

At Number 7 is the Light Novel adaptation of the Sumikko Gurashi Movie, Aoi Tsukiyo no Mahou no Ko. Released on November 4th, the title sold 5,576 copies in its first 4 days. The second film started its screening on November the 5th with production handled by studio Fanworks. You can check out its promotional video down below if you are interested.

And then, at Number 8 is Futsutsuka na Akujo de wa Gozaimasu ga: Suuguu Chou So Torikae Den Volume 3 at 5,528 copies, The title also has its ongoing Manga adaptation publishing via Ichijinsha’s Comic ZERO-SUM of which its official page can be found here. Of course, you can check out its Manga, which 1st chapter is available for free in Japanese right here.

Number 9 is a title you may be familiar with, Infinite Dendrogram Volume 17 saw a rather weak turnout despite having a full 7 days of sales. It sold 4,276 copies. Between January 9 to April 16, 2020, it received an Anime adaptation by studio NAZ. Tensei Shitara Akuyaku Reijou dattanode Hiki NEET ni Narimasu: Kishi de Hakushaku na Osananajimi no Iroke ga Tsuyo Sugiru Volume 2 is another Ichijinsha title. It places 10th for the week at 3,242 copies sold in its first 6 days.

As for past titles, Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e: 2-nensei-hen Volume 5 (including pre-sales) saw a total of 72,136 copies on its 2nd week, though clearly a weaker performance compared to its past volumes. Note that amongst the rest of its volumes, Volume 5 has the longest days of sales as of Week 2 at 14 days while the others hover around 10 to 11 days.

Sword Art Online: Unital Ring V Volume 26 which places 6th experienced nearly 40% fewer copies sold than the week before as the number of copies sold dropped to 5,958 copies. Nevertheless, this would bring its lifetime sales so far to a great 93,361 copies sold! It should breach the 100,000 copies mark in a couple of weeks.
