The latest chart for the Light Novel sales ranking is finally out and accessible via Oricon here. So, do check them out and make sure to show your support by heading over to Oricon here as if it is not for them, these weekly ranking charts would not be made possible.
The week between May 4 to May 10 sees another Kadokawa title taking the top chart, this time it is Sword Art Online’s latest volume (previous week was Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) with 31,847 copies sold nationwide Japan. Note that this figure is lesser than the number of copies sold by KonoSuba the week before. Speaking of which, KonoSuba dropped a spot to number 2 this week as it experienced a drop in sales (roughly 45% lesser than the week before), bringing the total sales thus far by the title’s 17th volume to 68,016 copies.
Good news is, sales of Kimetsu no Yaiba’s two novels surge for the week with Shiawase no Hana increasing the most. This could be due to the latest volume of the Manga (vol. 20) which was released a few days ago (May 13). Apart from Sword Art Online, there are other new titles which made into the week’s list. They are 86 (No. 5), Shinsetsu Ookami to Koushinryou: Ookami to Youhishi (No. 8) and Tensei Shite Inaka de Slowlife wo Okuritai Hajimete no Kazoku Ryokou (No. 10).
