Six new releases made their way onto Oricon’s latest Light Novel sales chart for the week between March 8 to March 14 with the latest volume of Sword Art Online: Progressive at the top spot with 45,451 copies sold. Seeing the popularity of the series as a whole, sales should be expected to stay strong the following week, whatnot with the theatrical release of the same name announced, though the actual screening date is still unknown. Following closely behind Sword Art Online is Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai, which many of you may be familiar with. Though, most have assumed that the title has ended its publication, that seems to not be the case as the author has released subsequent volumes on alternate routes pertaining to the title. Volume 16 managed a decent turnout of 15,053 copies in its first week. Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken‘s Volume 4 comes in 3rd with 12,766 copies sold. Goblin Slayer (No. 6) sold under 10,000 copies to see its 14th volume settling in at 6th place while Hoshi no Kirby: Kirby Fighters Shukumei no Rival-tachi and Shinsetsu Ookami to Koushinryou: Ookami to Youhishi are at 8th and 9th spots respectively.
Sales have been great so far for Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e: 2-nensei-hen, which three-week sales now have hit 89,004 copies sold. Bungou Stray Dogs STORM BRINGER is at the edge of the list as number of copies have dropped 60% to 5,503 week-on-week. Nevertheless, its cumulative sales since debut currently stand at 28,666 copies.
