Sales of Kimetsu no Yaiba’s Light Novels continue their downtrend as number of copies sold for the two titles dropped albeit a little for the week between March 30 – April 5. Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken maintains its position for the week, but sales have declined 47.53% from 61,649 copies sold the week before to 32,348 copies. However, the week sees an interesting new title making into the week’s ranking with a Light Novel edition about Trafalgar Law trailing Tensei Shitara closely at number 2 while Kimetsu no Yaiba Shiawase no Hana and Kimetsu no Yaiba Katabane no Chou traded places to settle for number 3 and 4 respectively.
The week also sees publisher, SHUFUNOTOMO having a slight positive impact with 3 of its titles making into the top 10 list which include Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo (No. 5), Risou no Himo Seikatsu (No. 6) and Isekai Cheat Magician (No. 7). Hobby Japan’s Seirei Gensouki at number 8.
Unfortunately, Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu could not maintain its momentum. It debuted the week before with 24,859 copies sold, but sales have not been so kind for the week as it saw number of volumes sold plummeted by 59.21% to 10,140 copies sold. After a good few weeks, the 14th volume of OVERLORD dropped 5 spots to number 10 seeing sales of its volumes shaved by about 42.69%. It currently sits at 10 and is on the verge of exiting the list.
