I spy with my little eyes the latest work by Nisio Isin at number 8! And a number of interesting titles making into the list according to Oricon chart here for the latest Light Novel Ranking between March 16 and March 22 available here.
The week saw Overlord retaining its number 1 spot for the week, but sales for its latest volume saw a decline of about 67% bringing down the number of copies sold from 120,601 copies the week before to 39,848 copies. The Limited Edition that comes with an Ainz figure did not make it into the top 10 for the week.
According to available data, this would be the third week for the month of March for Kimetsu no Yaiba’s two Light Novels to have experienced a drop in sales. Although both titles still have a big present in Oricon’s chart for many months now, sales are starting to slow down. I expect a slight decline for the two novels the following week. What do you think?
Apart from that, looks like a lot of talented people are chipping into the latest SNAFU novels that are placed at number 5 and 6 for the week including authors and illustrators from other titles such as Sou Sagara who did Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko. The new anthology would seem to serve as a side story to the main novel. It would be nice if I could hear your thoughts on what to expect from this new title.
