The week’s top spot is taken by Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken latest 5th volume with 19,791 which is its best debut sales thus far among its latest four volumes. The series initially began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou before SB Creative started releasing the revised and illustrated version of the series on June the 14th, 2019. Currently, three of its volumes are out in the west with Volume 2 and Volume 3 up for pre-orders. The Light Novel will also receive a Manga adaptation on an unannounced date.

Following closely behind Otonari no Tenshi-sama is Ryuu to Sobakasu no Hime which recorded a 42.44% improvement in sales over the week before. The sharp increase is brought upon the release of its film in Japan seeing it making an impressive debut at No. 1 in its first weekend. The theatrical film sold 459,000 tickets on its first Saturday bringing it 680 million yen (~$6.20 million) worth in sales and on Sunday it saw higher ticket sales of about 600,000, generating 890 million yen (~$8.09 million) worth of sales (Source: Crunchyroll). It is safe to assume that the sharp rise in number of copies sold for its Light Novel is due to the release of the film. In total, the title has had 42,311 copies sold for its Light Novel to date.

There are a number of new releases on the chart for the week which includes Kimetsu no Yaiba Novelize: Yuukaku Senyuu Daisakusen-hen at Number 4 with 8,571 copies sold. Hoshi no Kirby: Dedede Daiou no Dassou Daisakusen is 5th with 8,408 copies sold while Koujo Denka no Kateikyoushi Volume 9 is 10th with 5,288 copies sold. As for Koujo Denka no Kateikyoushi, it has a Manga adaptation that is ongoing, published via Kadokawa’s Shonen Ace Plus. Do check out the promotional video for the Light Novel series down below:
As for others, Shin Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Cygnus no Otome-tachi Volume 2 and Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku Volume 23’s two-week sales have reached 25,706 copies and 25,813 copies respectively. Spy x Family: Kazoku no Shouzou three-week sales are at 38,461 copies while Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e: 2-nensei-hen Volume 4.5 four-week sales has hit 81,969 copies sold! Number 8’s Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru. Volume 1 on the other hand has recorded a small increase in sales by 1.95% over previous week. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
